The "DVD+R DL White Inkjet" subcategory identifies the disc top surface as being able to print on the disc top surface with an inkjet printer 8.5G of data. The DVD+R DL White Inkjet come in 2 types. DVD+R DL White inkjet HUB Printable and DVD+R DL White Inkjet CLEAR Hub Printable. The difference between these 2 types is the printing area on the disc top surface. Hub printable discs allow printing from the center hole to the outer edge of the disc while the Clear hub do not. The Clear hub has a 40mm clear ring from the center hole that is not printable. These are currently available from Verbatim (the best), MBI, Ritek Ridata, and Optical Quantum.
DVD+R DL discs come either branded or in inkjet, thermal or lightscribe tops for printing applications.
